Judging Guidelines and Entry Forms

Each participating council is responsible for selecting images from their member clubs for submission to the competition. Each council may enter 20 images per category; there can be no more than two entries from any given maker. Download the Competition Rules.

Each council has responsibility for identifying the judges for specific categories. In 2011, the judging assignments are as follows:

N4C All Projected Images: Creative, Color, Travel, Nature, Journalism
SJVCCC Travel Prints, Nature Prints
6C Pictorial Prints, Monochrome Prints

Typically images are exchanged for judging the second or third weekend in September prior to the event and returned to the host council during a second exchange by the second weekend in October. In 2010 the exchanges will be made at the as follows:

First exchange: September 18, 1:00 PM – Pleasanton Marriott Hotel 11950 Dublin Canyon Road in Pleasanton (at the intersection of 580 and 680)

Second exchange: October 9, 1:00 pm – Pleasanton Marriott Hotel, 11950 Dublin Canyon Road, Pleasanton

Entries should be submitted using competition entry spreadsheets (Excel). Please bring hard copies with the entries to the exchange as well as the entry forms on electronic media (e.g. CD-ROM).
