Conference
Every other year one of the three participating councils hosts the FotoClave
Conference which offers a weekend full of informative and entertaining programs as
well as an inter-council competition.

The 2007 conference was hosted by the N4C Council,  November 2-4, 2007 at the
Sheraton Gateway hotel in Burlingame. Friday evening’s speaker was Stephen Scott
Patterson, who presented a comprehensive program covering visual design and the
"Hidden symmetries" of color, form and texture in the landscape.

The banquet presenter on Saturday evening was Ryan Baldwin. “inspirations”. The
underlining question was: Why are we compelled to make photographs? For each
person this might be slightly different, but in the end, photographers are storytellers.

Saturday featured programs covering a range of topics including still-life
photography, night photography, photojournalism and digital. Click on the link below
