The dates for FotoClave 2009 are Friday, OCTOBER 30th to Sunday
NOVEMBER 1st, 2009

We already have some great presenters lined up:

  • To start the weekend we have lined up Keith and Annette Bottaro-Walklet from
Quiet Works Photography for the Friday night program.

  • George Lepp will be our keynote speaker on Saturday evening. His  Saturday
presentation will be awe inspiring and entertaining.

George will also be our Keynote on Sunday morning. His Sunday presentation will
be more instructional. On Sunday, we will invite, as our guests, students who are
enrolled in photography classes in any of our councils' area. George will be
sponsored by Canon and the Explorers of Light.

Saturday presenters include:

  • Richard Menzies, a writer, photographer, and comedian. Richard Menzies
Charles W. Guildner, a master portrait maker, specializing in large  format black
and white silver gelatin prints of the west.

  • Marilyn Newton, a photojournalist with the Reno Gazette Journal for over 40
years. She has some fantastic stories and photos to share.

  • Doug Keister, a master book publisher. He knows how to get books published
(38 so far) and how to get photos into books and magazines.

  • Peter Lang, creator of Safari West, an absolutely great place to create some nice
    wildlife images. Safari West

  • We are working on even more presenters.

  • We also have some great door prizes that includes a spot in a photo
workshop/field trip with Dan Sniffen and John Barkley.
